Your AI.SONIQ Certificate: What It Contains and How to Use It
Your downloadable PDF certificate is your official record of ownership. Here's exactly what it says and when to use it.
When you protect a track with AI.SONIQ, you receive two complementary proof records: a public Proof Page (a shareable URL) and a downloadable PDF certificate. The certificate is your formal, offline document.
The certificate includes your full name, the creation title, your Protection ID, the precise timestamp of your registration, the SHA-256 cryptographic fingerprint of your audio file, and the AI.SONIQ verification URL. It is generated server-side and formatted as a professional document.
You can use your certificate when sending music to labels or publishers (proof that you own the work before they evaluate it), in licensing negotiations (demonstrating prior ownership), when registering copyright officially (as supporting documentation of creation date), or any time you need to demonstrate prior art in a formal or informal context.
The certificate does not replace official copyright registration — that process is jurisdiction-specific and legally required for certain types of claims. But as a first-line record of authorship and creation date, it is a powerful, immediately accessible document that every creator should have on file.
